I designed the starting zone of level with basic gameplay element. Going for a gray and desolate feel that contrast hard with the rest of the map.
Implemented audio with fmod. Had fun making the “hunting scene” feel tense with distant gunshots and dogs, implying the player being hunted.
Is based on a tutorial of the Zelda BotW time stop mechanic. Reworked the blueprint to support surfing alongside time-locking certain objects.
I dived into Unreal Engines physics to mess with angular momentum and friction on the surfboard.
